Privacy notice
Effective 5 October 2026
In short: we collect what you send us when you get in touch, and anonymous visit statistics. We use it to reply to you and to improve the site. We never sell it. You can ask us what we hold and have it erased.
1. Who we are
ClarWorks (“ClarWorks”, “we”) runs clarworks.com and is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here. Address: Malmaddi 2nd Cross, Dharwad, Karnataka 580007, India. Email: hello@clarworks.com.
This notice covers the website only. When you use Saral, Sarathi, Sadan or software we build for you, the written agreement for that service says how its data is handled.
2. What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry or ask for a demo: your name, your business name if you give it, your email address and/or WhatsApp number, your message, the type of enquiry, any calculator summary you chose to send, the page you sent it from, the site that referred you, and campaign (UTM) tags in the link you arrived by. We use these only to reply to you and follow up on that enquiry.
When you browse, if you allow it: Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived, using cookies. We use this to see which pages help visitors and which don’t. It is not used to identify you.
In your browser only: your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Numbers you type into our calculators and models stay in your browser; a share link you create carries them in the link itself, and only the people you send it to see them.
Server logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
3. Why we may use it
Enquiry details are personal data you give us voluntarily for a stated purpose, replying to you, which the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows (section 7(a)). You can ask us to stop and erase them at any time. Visit statistics are collected only if you allow them, and you can change your mind at any time.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and afterwards only as long as the law requires us to keep business records; then they are erased. Google Analytics keeps visit data for at most 14 months.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, and stop using it, including withdrawing any consent you gave;
- let someone you nominate exercise these rights if you die or cannot.
Email hello@clarworks.com from the address or number you used, so we can confirm it’s you. We reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before it.
8. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Enquiry details are kept in accounts that only the people who reply to you can open. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
9. Children
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Questions and complaints

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Changes to this notice
When this notice changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Each enquiry records the version it was sent under (this is version 2026-10-05).
