Sound familiar? Here is the same week with its current version.
Bookings arrive by phone and WhatsApp, and a double-booking surfaces only when two cars are promised the same slot.
Every booking sits on one fleet timeline, and a double-booking is blocked unless someone overrides it with a written reason.
Driver bata, advances, and fuel cash are settled from memory, and nobody is sure who owes whom.
Each driver has a ledger of bata, advances, and payouts, and settlement repays only what they spent in cash or UPI.
Insurance, permits, fitness, and PUC expire without anyone noticing until a vehicle is stopped.
Insurance, permit, fitness, PUC, road tax, and RC carry expiry reminders.
You know this month’s total, but not which vehicle, client, or trip is losing money.
Profit by vehicle, client, and trip, with the vehicles losing money flagged.
The apps. One account opens them all.
In daily use in the current version. On ClarWorks Cloud, Customers & leads comes first; the rest follow, one at a time.
How a job flows. Nothing typed twice.
Built for this trade. Proven in the current version.
Bata is counted once
Driver bata becomes a cost when the trip completes, not when it’s settled. Every report uses the same definition, and it’s never billed to the client twice.
Blank is not zero
A missing bata or vendor cost blocks billing, but never stops a driver ending the trip. Zero is an answer; an empty field isn’t.
No double reimbursement
Settlement is recalculated on the server and repays only what the driver spent in cash or UPI. Fuel paid on the petro card is never paid out again.
Two honest views of profit
See vehicle P&L with costs spread evenly, or as they were actually paid. Salary is split by km driven, and idle vehicles show the revenue they lost against their class.
Cost per km from your own data
Each trip is costed from that vehicle’s last 30 days, falling back to its class and then the fleet, so trip margins reflect how your vehicles really run.
Guard rails on cash
A single payout above ₹2 lakh is blocked by the server, not just hidden on screen, so a slipped zero can’t go out as a payout.

Can we use it now?
Its current version runs a vehicle-hire business every day, and we can show it to you in a demo. The version for ClarWorks Cloud comes after quoting and CRM: ask for early access and we write when it opens. Until then, nothing here is on sale as a sign-up.
Does it handle trips we hand to other operators?
Yes, in the current version. Any trip can be run by an outside vendor instead of your own fleet. Vendor costs come from separate buying rate cards, vendors can log in to see only their trips, and a vendor performance report shows how each one does.
Does it produce the GST tax invoice?
Yes, in the current version. Every booking is priced with GST inclusive, exclusive, or exempt, and billed trips are grouped into a billing batch that prints as a tax invoice, from any of your billing companies. Your books stay in your accounting software.
What do drivers need?
In the current version, an Android phone. GPS is recorded only while a trip is running, and only after the driver agrees. In the app, drivers see only their own trips.
Where does our data live?
On ClarWorks Cloud, on our servers, kept apart from every other business's data. On ClarWorks Enterprise, in your own cloud account. Either way it is yours, and you can export it whenever you like.
Can it be changed to fit how we work?
Most of it is settings you change yourself: your items, rates, steps, roles and documents. Changes to the software itself, made only for you, are part of ClarWorks Enterprise, where your installation is your own. How Enterprise works
How is it priced?
On ClarWorks Cloud, quoting starts free on the Free plan; the Quotes and Complete plans are paid, with prices published before they open. ClarWorks Enterprise is a licence and a yearly maintenance contract, quoted in writing. See pricing
